You Me and the Internet

You and Me probably have nothing in common. We probably aren't friends and have never met. We most likely don't live anywhere near each other. But we do share something: the internet.

You probably found me through a random Google search or stumbled upon this on Twitter. Maybe you thought the name was interesting or you just have a thing for blogs. Doesn't matter to me.

The Internet. World Wide Web. The center of most people's worlds. I'm not any different. At my job and during my free time I spend probably 90% of my time online. It's just the world we live in. I love social media, I love news, I love people, I love gossip and I love sharing it. I love being in the loop.

It brings the saying, "it's a small world," to life. I may not know you and vice versa but I may know your mother's aunt's cousin. Or maybe your best friend from kindergarten. I could be that random barista or bartender that you share your life to everyday or weekend. In this world of the internet I could know everything about you with a few clicks of a mouse. It's kind of scary isn't it? You should really sit back and just ponder that for awhile.

Relax, the internet isn't all bad. It's made so many good things: connections, memes, new ideas... Think of the freedom. Think of what you'd be doing without internet. Not a fun picture, is it? This blog is just me spouting out stories and making you all realized the wonders, dangers and so much more about you, me and the internet.

Goodbye and Goodluck
